i.Tech Bluetooth Virtual Keyboard

November 27th 2006 19:41

This blue tooth enabled keyboard is just breath taking not just with it's futuristic idea but for it's utility too. This keyboard can be projected to any surface and some of the people who have been using it has even been able to type projecting it on their dogs (must be a pretty disciplined dog to stay still while the owner types) and girlfriend's legs. But that just goes on to show that it can be used on any surface (water would be one of the exceptions) and for people with not enough space on their desk can use the space that usually their physical keyboard occupies to put any damn thing they want to there and then project the keyboard on it whenever they wanna type.

It uses infrared to project a clear and crisp keyboard onto your desktop, and then transfers your keystrokes via wireless networking. The keys are projected by a small gadget which is almost
the size of a cellphone and you can carry it around. It can be used on laptops, PC's, Windows Mobile, Palm OS5 and Smartphone as long as they are blue tooth enabled. It's compatible with Windows 2000 or Windows XP.

At the price of $215 you can lay your hands on this keyboard..wait.. you can lay your hands on any surface and strike those keys. For normal PC users who are so use to the physical keyboards it might take a while to master typing on it but for any PDA or smart phone users this would be really be a great utility since typing long messages on those tiny keys on the phones is a difficult task.

Definitely on my "to buy when not as expensive" list...

I knew about this, but wasn't yet released. I see now it is.

Thanks for the heads up!

Vimal,

Where have you been lately?

Does this mean I can do more posts while I'm shopping, getting my hair done, going for my daily walk when I do it, hence, by definition, it is no longer a daily walk, while walking around looking for my dream partner or whatever, like having lunch with friends, where did they suddenly all go.

Sounds quite exciting, I can increase my blogging while not losing any further sleep. My pay should come up? by increments of... let's see, cents per day, mind you not too many.

I often have trouble knowing which of your posts I should respond to , but I am having no trouble deciding this one.

c u soon

katyzzz

Psst, does this mean that if I have the enamel on my teeth 'blued' I shall no longer need them.
As you can see I'm just a tech [pronounce ch not k] computer illiterate.

It's about time these more 'futuristic' gadgets became available. Now that we have virtual keyboards, hovercars and teleporters should be next on the agenda.

Seriously though, it is such a fantastic idea, though I imagine it would take a while to get used to...
