Digital Photo frame

November 28th 2006 21:52
This is a digital photoframe with a LCD screen on which you can load upto 32-80 images and place it anywhere you would normally place your photoframes and you will never get bored of watching the same old picture of your loved ones staring back at you. It can add sound too to fit mood of the picture.

The pictures can be set to a transition time of 15 secs to several hours. The images are loaded to this using the USB cable from your PC or phone. The frame is 8" x 10".But for a price tag of over $700 . The idea is cool..but the price tag makes me freeze. I think I would settle down for staring at different photoframes instead of staring at different photos in this photoframe.

You always manage to find the coolest gadgets, Vimal. I love the concept of this frame, it's just a pity about the price tag!

Hi Vimal!

Yes, I heard of this frame because it's Google's christmas present to all good-paying advertisers. I think it's very smart and nice, maybe something all homes will have in the near future.

Cya!

Digital photoframes have been around for a few years, but they still haven't gained much in the way of popularity, and I"m guessing that can be blamed on the price tag. I've seen some digital photoframes for around AU$200-300 but thats still a little expensive. Hopefully they'll come down soon.

Nina, thx and am sure that once I start visiting your blog I will get to catch some of the coolest news. Just been so tied up lately. I will be coming around soon to check out what your TV Babble is relaying.

FilmPeeker, yeah Google is handing out digi photo frames as gifts but am not sure whether they are gonna hand out the expensive ones like this or the less expensive ones out there. I checked today at the source website where I first saw this and the item is sold out at this price tag! May be it was Google or may be there was only one piece lol.

Jimbo, yeah this is very expensive at $700 and I guess it is coz of the features it offer when compared to the less expensive ones. If you check it out at the source link given u will get more idea abt the features this offer and compare it with less exp ones u saw.

Ok, for now am off to bed lol.

great find... I agree with you, the price tag makes it unattractive...

just wait for the future, though... it'll all be like sci-fi movies!
